Since 1919, Avianca has remained the national airline of Colombia. In fact, it is the second oldest airline in the world just behind KLM. Furthermore, Avianca has its own tourist division by the name of Deskubra, which offers tourist packages to the travelers.
The current fleet of Avianca comprises of 2 Boeing 767-300ERs, 5 Boeing 767-200ERs, 7 Boeing 757-200s, 17 McDonnell Douglas MD-83s, 12 Fokker F100s and 8 Fokker F50s. Apart from that, Ocean Air fleet as well as the VIP fleet consist of many aviational engineering marvels to cater to the comfort and requirements of the passengers.
