One of the best on-flight safety providers in the world, Air France boasts of its accreditation by the IATA with its IOSA, i.e. IATA Operations Safety Audit.

A tie-up with the Dutch company KLM in the year 2004 resulted in the formation of Air France-KLM. In terms of operating revenues, Air France-KLM has the distinction of being the largest airline company in the world. Also in terms of passengers-kilometers, Air France-KLM clocks at the third rank in the whole world.
